I have thought about blogging numerous times but have never taken that leap. My friend, Edwin Crozier, has started the blogging craze and appears to be enjoying it. In my never-ending quest to compete against him I was compelled to jump feet first in the blogging waters. I must warn you, as this is new to me I realize I am standing up in the shallow end of a deep deep pool.
I’ve titled my blog “Deep Waters” after the words of Proverbs 18:4. I hope my words can live up to the challenge of that passage. I hope the things I have to share with you about common observations in life and the spiritual application that can be made will encourage you in your walk with God. I hope they will be wise words because they are rooted in the truth, the Word of God.

Actually, Jeff, Terry already does a Tuesday e-mail called Tuesday notes. So, he technically has a newsletter that I do not yet have. That probably counts as two blogs.
I’ll have to work on a newsletter now.
