At a recent visit to the Collierville Municipal Court (to provide proof of insurance and have a ticket dismissed) I notice an interesting sign on the wall. The words in bold letters read “Court Dress Code” across the top with the following sentence below: “Defendant must be appropriately dressed to be admitted into the courtroom.” [...]
